Campground has potential but is in desperate need of maintenance and upgrades such as power. We’ve had multiple experiences with power issues where it messed up our equipment and cost quite a bit to fix. Bathhouse also needs updated very badly. Very nice location but needs updated and taken care of. Sad they are just letting it wear down.

What a beautiful park!! The lake is quiet, hardly any motor boats on the water. The park was full by the weekend and there were several families with kids. It was a bit noisy, but know now where to camp so I’m not in the midst of their play area. We drove around the park and saw several spectacular spots for next time.
The camp attendant, Curtis was amazing!! He called us to let us know our spot would be open early so we could check in early our first day! He drove around at least two times a day to check on the sites and area around camp. Very friendly and attentive. The ferry ride was fun, but the roads on the Missouri side were super curvy and narrow! It’s worth the drive though! We will definitely be back!
We will definitely be back!
