This is a great little COE park. We stayed one night at one of the waterfront spots. Lots of space and grassy areas between spaces and lots of open space in general. Great deal when you also have an America the Beautiful Pass. I highly recommend.

A nice, quiet campground along the Arkansas River. Nice sized sites with water and electric. Plenty of room from each site and for parking extra vehicles. Great place to stop if its along your route or to stay and fish on the river. Has a boat launch and picnic area. Bathrooms looked relatively new, well kept, and clean.

Overall very clean. Nice sites some are bigger than others. The only downside for us was the dump station. For bigger rigs a circular area was not the ideal setup for us as we have a newer trailer that has 2 drains and the sewer connection was down low as it we above the street. Other than that, it was clean and a nice park.

This was just a stop over but the park is really well taken care of and it was cool to watch the barges go down the river.

Our experience was wonderful. We did have difficulties backing into the slim paved slips with our long truck and rv but once we mastered that, the park was clean, quiet and beautiful. These spots would be find for little rv’s or vans, not so much for how most travel over the road now. Just plan ahead and it all works out fine.

Small off the beaten path campground on the Arkansas River. Quiet, beautiful trees. Wish the water front spaces were open in the off season.
