Very nice stay in site F11 which is beautifully situated on the water with great sunset view. Grounds well kept and the online reservation and self check in a breeze…as always. Bath house clean but like most Corps facilities, could use a facelift. For the price, can’t be beat!

Great place for a layover. We have stayed on 4 different occasions and always a good experience.

It's a hidden gem but watch out for the heat, humidity, bugs, frogs, snakes...:)

Campground is nice but restrooms are terrible. Zero ventilation! Hotter inside than outside plus TONS of bugs in there. Try taking a shower in that - not good! No trails to speak of and far from anything. It’s quiet for sure, but not much else to do but sit around.

The location of this COE campground is a little off the beaten path but that's what makes it so peaceful and beautiful. The sites are very spacious. The grounds are well-maintained. The scenery of the lake is breathtaking. The bathrooms could use a freshen up of the interior paint on the floor and walls, but otherwise is adequate.

Sites were clean; bathrooms were nice enough. Pretty typical for a state park. Large, handycap accesible epoxy covered concreate. Plenty of hot water and bonus points for plenty of space to put your dry clothes and towel. Sites are generously spaced apart with nice views. All the sites are level and easy to get into. All in all, a nice, quiet stay.
