Great clean park! We met the camp host and he was very nice. We stayed in spot 1 for a quick overnight stay. Would stay here again if driving through.

Lovely small park on the Arkansas River. Has a great playground for the kids. Only drawbacks here are the shower house and no sewer connections. Shower houses are not very nice at all. We didn’t use them so depending on how long you camp here that could put a strain on your camper holding tanks. There is a dump station near the park entrance tho.

We stayed here on our way south for the winter. Small campground, 21 sites, water electric. Campground hosts are great was super friendly and informative. We stayed hooked up to the truck and used our camper facilities so we did not look at the showers.

I just love this place. It’s so refreshing to camp somewhere and be able to see the stars at night. So many campground places have very bright street lights and it feels like you’re in a parking lot, not here. I would say this is a really great place for adults That want a peaceful setting. Not to say that it’s not child friendly. There is a playground and stuff but, it’s nice and quiet and not too big. The sunsets and sunrises are just beautiful, especially with all the aquatic nature around certainly a lot of camera worthy shots at this location.
I would not say that these are the best bathrooms I’ve ever seen at this type of facility, but most people aren’t using them for showers anyways.
Very friendly guest hosts we’re here to help me when I arrived.
I would definitely recommend this place

Good campground on the lake. Older and clean bath house (warm too!). I camped the last part of November so the crowds were gone and the night time temps cool. Site 47 was almost level with a nice forest view. Utilities were good. I enjoyed the hike from the campground.
