We probably had the best and most private camp site, which was the one closest to the bathroom. Water was beautiful and though it was holiday weekend and campsites all taken I would not have called the park crowded. Good covered picnic tables.

Site 6 was a great spot, easy to fish from, also rented site 7 but it didn't have fishing access. Bathrooms/showers were fairly clean for a campsite. Bugs(mosquitoes) were worse than I expected so definitely prepare for that(we did but it was still pretty bad). I'm use to mosquitoes but with water on both sides they were bad.

We have always loved to camp here!! The person who always had the mowing contract lost it and now the grounds are such a mess. The grass isn’t mowed, the branches aren’t picked up and the bathrooms aren’t as clean as they used to be.
So sad for a park that was always pristine!

I suggest they get the old grounds keeper back because it was always a beautiful camping area.

Gorgeous location backing on to the lake, just wish the weather hadn't been quite so chilly the night we were there. A fabulous place to just relax and chill.
