Nice and helpful campground hosts. A lot of trash inside the fire pits. Not as quiet as we expected it to be.

We initially booked a wooded site, but after two nights everyone left and we didn’t feel comfortable alone so I booked a lakefront site also. I tried to cancel the wooded site, but wasn’t able to since we were already checked in. The guard station was only open from 2p-7p, and since we were mountain biking all day in Bentonville, the attendant was already gone every day. I also tried calling the number and it kept ringing with no answer and no option for a voicemail. Our last night we went back up to the wooded site. I booked both sites under my name; paid in full, had a receipt both sites. All of a sudden the camp host came flying up in a golf cart and started yelling at me, accusing me of stealing someone else’s site even after her husband verified he checked me in and after showing her my receipts. She continued to badger us until her husband made her leave. We had no issues all week until that night, and after the incident she changed something in the computer and some random person showed up at 11:30pm telling me he had the site booked for the night, even though I had booked it over a month ago and had it reserved. This woman was so rude and even though I had showed her proof, made multiple attempts to contact them regarding my reservation and tried modifying online she continued to yell at me like I did something wrong and ruined my evening. We will not be back.

Our overnight experience was horrible. From 10pm-4am. There was concert level music and no management or park security to put a stop to it. Other campers were upset as well. The campsite next to us, their kids woke up crying from the noise.
We mentioned it to the park management the next morning.
There has to be some kind of surveillance out of respect and safety for all.
This was ridiculous.
