The campground is very clean & scenic along the shores of Beaver Lake. We enjoyed hiking the trail and walking our dogs through the campground. Our only complaint (as with many Corp parks) is that there is no water hookup for trailers, so we had to use our water tank sparingly for the 3 nights we were there. We camp at Rocky Branch so that we can go to nearby Hobbs State Park to mountain bike on their phenomenal trail system and visit their nature center. We stayed in Spot #2 by the water, which was a nice big spot, but a little hard to maneuever into since it was on a steep hill.

Our site (#8) was one of the best campsites we've ever had. Not only was it right on the water (or shore, since the water level is low), it was well-tended and tidy. Everything worked well and the pit toilets were clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back to this campground in future visits to Arkansas.

Great camp hosts, nice campground. Kinda older but well maintained. pit toilets near my campsite. I read there were flush toilets but never went to them.
Was a county burn ban while i was there, bummer but understandable.
Will stay again if in area!

Pretty campground. We were in the area on the point by the lake. No water at site so fill up before you arrive or at one of the red shared water spouts scattered across the park. We were in site 17 and it was beautiful and pretty level. Appreciated the ability to book day the day of arrival! The lake views are fantastic.
