Reserved this location for the first 6 days of July in order to hopefully avoid fireworks. Instead, there are no park rangers therefore no rules are enforced. Fireworks went off every night. That is my biggest complaint - there is not a professional staff at the park any longer - anything goes. In general, there is no evidence that any money has been spent on the upkeep of the campgrounds. The skylight over the primitive bathroom has not been cleared off for at least a couple years - this is the only light provided during the day, and it would be adequate normally.

This is one of the best campgrounds on Beaver Lake. The new bathhouse is fantastic!

Beautiful site (16). Brand new bath house was very clean. Park could use some signage, we thought we were lost then stumbled upon our loop. Not much to do except enjoy the water. About a 45 minute drive to Bentonville if that’s in your plans.

After booking, I received notification that checkout time is changing to allow time for park attendants to clean up sites before next camper arrives. My site was on the water and my family picked up 4 trash bags worth of trash from the shoreline, so I can confirm this isn’t happening. Rocky branch campground has 2 different families working the gate, one of which looks like a homeless camp. When I had additional family come in on a holiday weekend, nobody was working the booth. This campground still has a lot of debris from the tornado that came through 2 years ago. Not sure the excuse for that. I see a lot of brand new park ranger pick up trucks that seem to just drive around. Maybe they can make some use out of those fancy trucks and stop every once in a while and pick up some trash.

Very clean and quiet location. Campsites were well maintained and bathrooms were brand new. Campground hosts were very polite and helpful. Highly recommend this location for both RV and tent camping. Just be aware that if you use one of the water sites the lights from the marina can be a bit distracting at night.

We had a great time. The park was in great shape and the improvements to the restrooms were nice.

Rocky Branch is the most peaceful and serene campground Ive been to yet. Most of the sites are level. We spent some time up in the woods watching the deer play, and some time down by the water to watch the fish jump. Both sites were nice and level and easy to walk around. The flat roads and loops made so the kids could ride their bikes for ages. We had a good time watching the sun fade on the cliffs opposite us every night.
