Stayed in site 56. The views were great but the site is by a water or electric plant and was very loud all day and night. Did not abide by the quiet hours.

The tent area was beautiful. BUT... we were having mechanical issues so we needed to park in the bathhouse parking lot in order to have enough flat surface for jacking up our motorcycle trailer, so we chose the closest available tentsite to the bathhouse, which was right behind it. I wouldnt recommend that site. If we had been able to get a site farther away from the bathhouse our experience probably would have been much better. But as it was, we couldnt sleep because the lights of the bathhouse shone in our tent all night and there was the constant drone of the electric box. Also could hear generators cutting off and on all night from across the water. Could smell the bathroom deoderizer at our tent site and the mens urinal was especially stinky inside the bathroom. There were lots of little biting flies. We didn't stay for our second night.

We enjoyed the view and sunsets by the water. We did not enjoy the noise from the plant in front of our site 56.

Absolutely beautiful campgrounds with great showers/bathrooms and easy access. Only complaint was the tent pads are kinda small (my tent is 16x8 and hung over one side, and they are all rocks so the tent stakes either don't stay or you can't drive them into the ground.

The week we were there the temperatures were below normal for this time of year. Breeze blowing of the water was absolutely incredible. Ducks came up to our campsite (3) we gave them some bread. When I was cooking turned around all 8 of them were there. Guess they told their friends we had bread up here. Just an over all relaxing week.

We absolutely loved this site. Lake access was right across the road, hot showers and bathrooms were clean, and neighbors were quiet. The common comments in other reviews of the loud generator were a bit harsh - while there is one nearby and it is noticeable when it turns on/off (which is very frequent), itβs not so loud to wake us up or cause issues at night. Our only complaint is of our site itself - while the tent pad was level, the rest of the site was not so finding a level place to set up a camp stove was challenging. The picnic table (at the time of writing this, so unsure if it will change), was moveable so we were able to move it around, but it was difficult to find a level spot. The walk up/down from where parking is is also a bit long - not a challenge for us, but stairs and the slope might be difficult for others. Overall had a wonderful time and will be back!
