Site was perfect. Too windy to stay there at all. Could not get a refund for the 3 days we were supposed to be there.

So calm, so beautiful, ducks, geese, trees, water...all the great amenities! Only downside was the water purification plant on the property. Loud and humming. A bit disturbing, but we, thankfully, had a site away from the noise! Also, if you like a hot shower, this is the place for you!

Very nice, clean, enjoyable campsite! We stayed up in site #35, which was a very nice tent site with an overlook to the lake. Nicely shaded, ample space to the site for us (one person + one dog). Minimal noise, and close enough to the rest of the campsites that it felt safe, but far enough away that I didn’t have issues with people being too close/disturbing me!
Cell service with AT&T was perfect once up the mountain/past the first loop of campsites.
Only downside was having to hide in the (clean!) bathrooms to avoid the tornado!
I would definitely recommend a campsite in the upper loops, as the lower ones by the marina are close to the busy day use area/a bit too close together for my personal taste.

We camped here to be close to Hot Springs, but it was beautiful here too. When we went out was a bit cold, but we still had a lot of fun, just made it harder to grill.

Beautiful campground! Access can be a little tricky after big rains like we had. Road was flooded in4-5 places. Barely got thru in a RAV4. Would not have tried it in a sedan. A wonderful scenic location!

Overall a nice stay. Beautiful camp sight. It was early in the year so cold & some water sources not yet on. Good idea to bring a bike given the nice paved roads
