What Guests Are Saying
Brady Mountain Campground offers beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great choice for family camping trips. Many visitors praised the stunning lake views and the friendly campground hosts. However, some noted dated bathrooms and occasional disturbances from neighboring campers, as well as a lack of water hookups, which could be improved for a better experience.

We came in on late afternoon July 3rd for a couple of days on our route to the Rockies and the ranger on duty was incredibly helpful. On the busiest weekend the staff, Roy and Faye were very helpful and friendly. Can't say enough about how great the park staff were. The lake is beautiful and the park has great access from overlook parking, boat launch, swimming beaches, etc. The park was very clean and the sites were level with many having concrete pads. The restrooms in our section were a little on the dated/worn side, but were kept clean. We loved kayaking to one of the nearby islands and finding our own beaches so we could swim. Great place and we'll try to plan another trip back.

We stayed 8 nights. Very little control of campers. Several, 4 tents allowed on one site. Cars everywhere. Loud language and sound systems. All of this in a very close campground.

Cell service was awful. Didn’t realize until late that all sites have to be reserved. That was not good. But for 46 years + we’ve continued to return to Brady Mountain. It’s our happy place!

Wonderful time! Very large campsites, this is the best site in the whole campground in our opinion.

Brady mountain is my favorite. I've been camping there for over 40 years. The only thing that I would like to see is that first come first serve sites be put back in place. It is older people that have no way or ability to go on line and reserve a campsite. Most of the people that were there were out of state people but the were to the most part practicing social distancing. Over all a good experience.

The only place that had water for filling campers was at the dump station by the ranger station at the entrance to the park. Most of the Corp campsites that cost what it does at Brady Mountain has water at each campsite along with electricity. You need to get rid of all those geese at the campsites to keep the sickness down for which they cause. There is geese poop all over the campgrounds.

We reserved campsite number 30 and it was in poor condition. The table was broken and not suitable for picnicking (think large chunks of concrete broken off). The fire pit was missing its grill as well. Luckily we had also reserved number 29 as we had a large group and were able to use it as a common picnicking area for both camps.

We enjoyed our time on site 8. Boat parking was limited in the cove, the sites are pretty close to each other, and we didn’t have phone service at camp but we had a great time overall. Made lots of memories with our friends and family.

Campsites do not have water hookups. You will need to fill your water tank near the entrance at the dump station before proceeding to your campsite. |
