Brady Mountain

The park is beautiful. Access to the ramp and swimming areas are nearby. The concrete pads are level and very clean (for now) though they need to do some maintenance (weeds). Just so you know, there is not any WATER at any of the campsites. You have to either bring your own or fill up at the entrance.

Won’t stay here again.

Love the camp host! They are very friendly, the Park Rangers were very friendly and helpful also. One of the best things to do is to go on a boat ride and see the islands. There were shallow caves you can see on the shore from the boat. The general atmosphere of the whole camp is relaxing, clean, family fun! Our favorite place to camp!

I will never be back. I stayed in #20 (tent only) and a huge group took over #17. 6 tents, about 20 people incl toddlers, young boys, adolescents and adults. Loud and obnoxious. Shining headlamps in my eyes when they looked at me. Kept partying very late. At 11PM, several of them (adults and kids) literslly walked right through my own site to get to the water below, with headlamps on, ignoring me, talking loudly. Kids began throwing rocks in water with headlamps on, numerous loud conversations feet from my tent, no respect for anyone else. About 11:15, ran a car engine for long period and revved extremely loud. Another guest (site 19 I think) packed and left because of their disturbances. Finally abput 11:30 I asked one of the adult males whem they were going stop being a distrubance so the rest of usbcould enjoy nature as we intended. He responded "about 2AM." I talked to the security guard whobtold me the only option was to call the sheriff. That is not the right answer since the sheriff does not enforce park regulation, only the county law.

I was completely unable to enjoy my time there. I couldn't sleep until after midnight. Those people had no respect for my space or my experience and completely interrupted my time with nature. No concern for others trying to enjoy peace and sounds of nature which is why we tent camp. The park ranger needs to be available for responding to these kinds of incidents. But until then I won't be back.

Beautiful campground, right on Lake Ouachita. The one drawback is no water hookups. That is hard on Oder people.
Also low water bridges will trap you. So, expect it after a rain. But they run off quickly after a rain stops.

Great location, but our campsite wasn't the best. The overall area is 5 Star. Now we are familiar with the location, we now know the best spots.

Been camping at Brady Mountain for 28 years. I still wish that there was water hookups available like many of the other camp grounds in the area.

Beautiful campsite and being near the water with a place for the boat was good.

We are new to owning a 22-foot trailer, and Brady Mountain was our first trip. It was amazing. Our site was right on the water. The campsite and bathrooms were very clean, the people were helpful and we had a great time. We can't wait to get back to Brady Mountain!

Waited four days through rain storms to be told I had to leave my site and loose five days of my vacation that I wait all year to have a Crystal Springs due to water levels. Only our section had to leave. The up coming Labor Day weekend is going to be beautiful and I’m sitting at home instead of enjoying the lake, sun camping under a full moon.
