Excellent location & beautiful surroundings. Only drawbacks were the very loud power plant that cycled off & on round the clock, and the showers were a hot mess.

We've stayed at Brady Mountain several times over the past year and have always enjoyed our visits. The campground is beautiful, the lake is amazing, and we've generally had great experiences.

Unfortunately, this trip was disappointing. When we returned to our campsite, another group had taken over our parking spaces and blocked the road so they could set up a tent in the cove directly in front of our campsite. It felt very inconsiderate and took away from the privacy and enjoyment of the site we had paid for.

We were also surprised to learn after swimming at the beach that there were elevated E. coli levels in the water. While we understand that water conditions can change and aren't always within the campground's control, it would have been helpful to have clearer communication about any advisories.

We still enjoy Brady Mountain and will likely return because of its beautiful location on Lake Ouachita, but we hope campground staff can do more to address parking and campsite boundary issues and keep visitors informed about water quality concerns.

This site has amazing views and the noise from the water plant did not bother me that much. It is a low to medium level hum at intervals around the clock.
However, this site needs some attention. It is infested with ants. We are not inexperienced or messy campers at all, but these ants were relentless. They entered our camper and found their way into a completely closed jar of peanut butter. Now we are battling an ant infestation in our camper. You can’t really use the picnic table either because of the ants.
Also, the area around the grill is overgrown with tall weeds. The entire rec area at Brady Mountain looks like it really needs some TLC. I saw that there were two park hosts, so I don’t think this should be hard to manage.

I had never heard of Brady Mountain as I was just passing through and looked for a campsite in that area of Arkansas. It was absolutely beautiful. Spot #24 with the lake view was amazing. The bathrooms and shower rooms were clean & well maintained. I would HIGHLY recommend this place and I will be sure to visit again

Pros: Amazing lake and scattered islets views! Lots of shade. tree tops are absolutely packed with birds, and there are geese patrolling the vicinity. Also a great spot for quick swim. Power outlet but no water.
Cons: Be prepared to walk 300ft from the parking lot to the campsite over dirt and grass, 500ft to bathroom. Then, there is a substation? nearby that makes a sporadic droning noise, which masks the nature. Lastly, the campground is undeveloped, so the ground can be uneven and rough.
