Boat ramp has been closed for going on a year. Security fence should be at edge of drop off and not edge of road.

It is a very quiet, clean campground. We enjoyed our stay and have stayed there multiple times. There are big, beautiful mature trees. Some of the picnic tables have roofs on them. The last time we were there some of the sites were closed due to the severe flooding we had here. The only thing I would change, if I could, would be to put some playground equipment closer to the campsites. There is an amazing playground, but it is quite a hike away. Our grandson wanted to play but his little legs (he is 2) wore out long before we got there.

Beautiful open land under canopy of huge trees - lots of space between sites. There had been some damage from flooding earlier in the year so some of the sites along the river weren't usable. We enjoyed our stay as it was quiet and we had plenty of opportunity to walk our cat. There is a loud horn before they let water out of the locks, but we only heard it a couple of times during the two days we were there. Google GPS sent us down the wrong road - next road over so check the map. We will be back here again.
