What Guests Are Saying
Old Post Road offers a clean, spacious, and well-maintained campground with friendly hosts, and excellent river views, making it a favorite for many visitors. Guests appreciated the amenities like the pavilion, boat ramp, and recreational activities, as well as the quiet atmosphere despite some nearby industrial noise. Negative experiences included encounters with rude neighbors and issues with ants, but overall, the positive aspects of the campground's cleanliness and staff support stand out.

The park was neat and well kept but the ants were terrible. We had to go into Russelville and buy some ant poisoning to spray down our RV and site.

Very nice campground. Large shady sites. Needs mowed more often and needs a water spicket at dump station to flush your tank is why I didn't give it 5 stars.

Ants were extremely bad and have been the last few times we’ve been there. We bring insect spray but really wash they would spray before sites are occupied.

The park was very well kept and the bathrooms were clean, some areas to walk down to the river needed some work done on the steps near the camp area we camped at

You only give a rating for camping at the park. I was not able to camp there because of bad weather.

I like that campsites are spaced out from each other.
