Stayed in site 16 this time good spot with table cover. Only thing was had to raise table side 3 inches to level. Be nice if all had table covers. Several holes in Grassed spots that need to be filled. Easy fix with some fill dirt. Worse thing is dump site across busy ( log trucks) highway. Need at least gray water dump in park. Also seems to be a easy fix using old fish cleaning station. Great attendants.

The campsites were very clean, leaves already swept off. The bathhouse was clean. The view of Millwood Lake at sunset was spectacular. There were not many campers so it was nice. BUT the constant road traffic especially from the log trucks was too much. They run about 18 hours a day. Loud engines and their Jake brakes made sitting outside annoying. I’m not sure if it’s just this time of the year but the infestation of Asian beetles was a lot. I used the vacuum to get them out of the camper but again sitting outside between 1 to dark had us covered in them.
We met the camp host who were the sweetest people ever. There is a small playground. There is also a boat docking area so if you have a boat you can park right near your camper. Several sites are pull through and some with covered picnic tables. The dump station is on the hwy 32, turning left out of the park and immediately right to the dump station. Over all we enjoyed our time but may not return due to the road noise.

Beard’s Bluff is one of our favorite COE campgrounds. There isn’t a bad site in the campground. Our favorite site is #12. There a few pull throughs and the other sites are easy to back in to. We look forward to returning there in the future.

Beautiful & peaceful! Would go back over and over. Sunsets and lake were wonderful. Lots of ducks and pelicans. Squirrels and other animals. Saw a deer.

The host was great! He called 2 days before and asked if I had ever been to this park before. He told me he really didn’t feel like the site I chose would be best because it was next to the road and loud with traffic. He offered me a different site. Then the day of, in the morning, he called to let me know that my site was open and I could come in early if I desired. He is the best.!
The restrooms were clean. The park was also clean. It was a great experience.

Still one of our favorite campgrounds to stay at while traveling to Northern AR and Branson, MO. Beards Bluff is about halfway on most of our journeys. Makes for a good stopping point for a hot shower and a little rest in our camping van. The host are always super nice and helpful! Always look forward to seeing their smiling faces and visiting! Dog friendly!

We really enjoyed our stay. The campground is well maintained. We were there for three days and it was quiet and peaceful. Be aware of the Mayflies, they were everywhere, not really a problem since they don’t bite.

How host Jeff and his wife were nice and helpful. This is a must visit campground.
