Large paved sites. Clean park and restrooms. Helpful and friendly gate attendants. Liked seeing "Fred,” the gator, near the campground. (In the water!)
Nearby "Old Washington" State Park is really a historic site worth spending some time at. We also went to Hope, AR to see President Clinton’s childhood home.
Would have like to have spent more time exploring the area.

The camp host- Jeff/ Sherry are super nice- friendly— they check on the campers throughout the day… They are very informative..
Ronnie… keeps the campsites blowed off and trash picked up…

Recently we spent an extended stay at Beard's Bluff, Millwood Lake, between Saratoga and Ashdown, Arkansas. We originally were in Site 10. After leaving we had trouble with our tow vehicle, had to return and extend our stay until vehicle was ready. We moved to Site 8. Feel very blessed to have been at this campsite with outstanding hosts Jeff & Cheryl Hicks along with fellow campers. Sunsets each evening were breathtaking along with being entertained by the many birds and "Wally" the gator who could be found sunning himself every day.

Nice park and the host were very nice. Enjoyed our stay with a nice lake view but be aware of ants. We got a few ants inside our Motorhome and had 100’s on the outside. Took us a couple days but got rid of the ants.

It's a lovely place, with big sites. The electric 50-amp worked fine. The water hookups are a little oddly placed, so be sure to bring extra hose. Dump station was easy to use.
Very clean throughout. Very helpful park host at gate.
Lots of big trees and shady sites available; the one site down by the water was exposed and hot. In future I'd get one up on the hill in the shade.
Alligator in the lake; also lots of birds including an Anhinga. Didn't go swimming but the water looked nice.

Beautiful campground! We were just passing through the area on our way to San Antonio, TX and needed a nice quiet spot for the night. Wish we could have stayed longer.

One of my favorite campgrounds!! Perfect location for an overnight stay to kick off our Arkansas adventures. Always super clean, super friendly camp host, great sites. Usually stay in a smaller non electric site, upgraded this time to a larger electric site. The site we picked was very private and a short walk to the bathhouse. This site would be great for a large family with multiple camping setups. Thanks again for another great stay, see ya'll in the fall!

Was a very nice spot. Bathrooms was very clean. Didn't have a good fishing spot or swimming area. But all in all I had a great time
