Loved the campsite. Very roomy. Raccoons are very active here at night so make sure to keep all food packed away. Only negative would be all of the ants. Our campsite was covered with them everywhere.
The river was perfect. Our boys played in the water all day. Would love to come back some day.

Enjoyed our stay there. Showers (only 2 stalls with no privacy) should be improved to be equal to Corp of Engineers properties.

My family and I went on Memorial Day weekend for a float trip. We picked Tyler Bend due to Buffalo Point being sold out nearly immediately. I was very happy with this Campground. We had a tent site with a 2 minute walk to the river. The campground was very clean and the bathroom / shower facility was clean with hot water. My kids loved doing the Jr Ranger program and the Park Rangers were very accommodating. Overall it was quieter and more peaceful than Buffalo Point. I think we will make this a yearly trip.

We were so glad we chose a walk in site. The walk to carry all the stuff from the car was a bit tiring in the heat, but our site was gorgeous. Secluded enough that we couldn't see anyone else from our site but we weren't too far away from bathrooms and showers. Amazing experience!
