Campsites were very nice and spacious. Access to the lake was easy. Just wish the fish had been biting better

This is a very secluded campground in the middle of nowhere. Very quiet and peaceful, but horrible roads and a long drive for supplies. There were no hosts while I was there. I stayed on a loop that had fantastic views, but I would stay on a different loop if I go back. Had to jump a curb to get backed in. A little scary when storms were predicted and no one around. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place.

Our camping trip was definitely a 10 rating. Carrie and Pat the campsite overseers went out of there way to make a trip perfect! The campsites were clean we had rented the pavilion for a group outing during our stay. Carrie and Pat power washed and sanitized the pavilion for a clean place for us to gather. I highly recommend this Merrisach campsite. The sun sets were breathtaking over the lake and some of our friends actually watched an eagle sore over the lake!
