What Guests Are Saying
Old Highway 25 is a highly praised campsite with beautiful lake views, clean facilities, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite for family camping trips. Many guests enjoyed the spacious and well-maintained sites, especially in sections E and G, and appreciated the friendly staff and recreational opportunities. Some concerns were raised regarding water access and maintenance, but overall, the positive experiences and scenic environment lead to a strong recommendation for future visits.

Had a great time. Gatehouse folks are very nice. We have been camping at old highway for a couple years now, we have noticed people don't respect others anymore and walk through your campsite like they own it. We are not comfortable with that and would never walk through anyone's campsite, now it is very common to have someone come walking through at any time.

Very nice park with exception of no water without hauling. not a big deal. D4 site was steep slope so will be back but picking other sites we found to be exceptional and just booked one of them for October.

Site D4 has a beautiful view, but the paved pad is slanted down (~10-15 degrees). Elderly camper couldn’t maneuver with a cane, had to use walker. Other than that, the site and campground are exceptional. For most level, sites D1 and D2 are most level in that vicinity.

I am sure it's already been noted, however, I want to let people know that are taking a travel trailer, F13 is very dangerous and should be designated as a TENT ONLY site. I felt the website should show the sloop of the parking pad for this site. The couple next to us actually had their camper to jump the curb and the tree was the only thing that kept it from going into the lake.

A little bit of Heaven. Space was clean, and very enjoyable. Just a short few minute drive to Heber and grocery stores, gas station and of course WalMart. We enjoyed the visitor center and the small museum they have and the film we got to watch about the building of the dam. enjoyed the over look it was spectacular. All the camping spaces are easy for us to pull our 27 foot rv into and set up. Hookups are really easy. all the shade trees make the campsites so enjoyable. the fire pits are nice for evening fires and we used them for cooking also.
we love old highway 25 campground..... its the best!
