Tom Sawyer's RV Park is a great spot for an overnight stay, featuring spacious concrete pull-through sites and beautiful views of the Mississippi River, including the enjoyment of watching barges pass by. Guests appreciate the free laundry service and the polite staff. While the bathrooms are outdated and in need of improvement, the campground's easy access and scenic location make it a worthwhile stop.

Great for a one night. We had a large pull through site which was wonderful as we did not have to unhook car. Free laundry so I did a load of wash and dry. Enjoyed watching the barges going down the Mississippi River. We would definitely stay again!

This RV park had a beautiful view on the Mississippi River. We were lucky that a front row spot was available. We were just there for a night, but I would love to come back and stay awhile and relax. The sites were concrete pull through pads, which were easy to level.
Getting to watch the barges sail on through was fun to see. There was plenty of space between rv sites.
The only downside was the bathrooms were outdated and not sealed properly, so bugs would fly in when you are in there. We didn't use the laundry while there. I believe it was a few dollars per load.
Great spot when traveling through and it's outside of the main town. A quick drive across to the Tennessee side for food.

No frills campground. Good for overnight stays. Lady that takes reservations over the phone is pleasant, quick and to the point. Easy in and out. Not crazy about the industrial backdrop or never ending barge traffic but you did choose to stay on the almighty Mississippi so theres that. However the river is nice and the sunrises are quite beautiful. Bath/shower is a concrete room painted in black BUT shower stall, toilet, sink, fixtures, etc very squeaky clean and they cleaned again that morning. Only very odd and annoying aspect was that there are no campfires allowed at the campground 🤔. Other than that, it did what it needed with ease.

Decent RV campground for an overnight stopover in December. We were able to make a reservation while en route. We were right on the Mississippi river in a spacious pull through site. It was supposed to be concrete, but was in pretty rough shape. Even so, it was fairly level. The entrance was run down and the sign was in great need of some TLC. It was fun watching the barges go by and we saw the most beautiful sunset. Wifi was non functional, but it was not a big deal since t mobile worked just fine for connectivity. We were able to pick up a few decent TV stations. Overall, it's a good place to stay for an overnight stop with nearby gas/diesel.

This is a very nice place with a scenic view of the Mississippi. The staff was very polite and we were grateful to have a concrete pad right there on the river. The sites are spacious with power, water, and sewer.
The only downside, and it's minor, is the bath house. It was in desperate need of updating and cleaning. I know most people use the shower in their camper. Unfortunately I feel like Buddy the Elf in our Sprinter chassis shower so I value a nice clean full size shower option. If that were a non-issue, I would give this place five stars all day.
