What Guests Are Saying
Bandido Group Campground offers a beautiful and peaceful environment, with clean facilities, ample space, and good fire pits. Visitors appreciate the shaded, secluded areas and the presence of a creek, making it enjoyable for families. However, some concerns include mosquito activity, limited cell service, potential trip hazards from low campfires, and difficulties accessing the campground due to a lack of communication regarding gate codes.

Read the instructions! I have never been to a campground where you have to call ahead for a gate code. I arrived at 7pm, no one around, no parking, no cell service. The gate was locked and I had to drive and find an available campground. Praise the maker for Chilao campground, it was accessible and available. Much better than this lousy campground. And my request for refund was denied… Thanks for the lesson.

For campsite number 1.
Small maybe 3 tents
Too many mosquitos & flies.
Loud music until 2:00 am
Bathroom were dirty all weekend.

Great spot for our Scout Troop campout and we’d definitely go back! My only word of warning is that the after-hours noise restrictions were not enforced, at least on the weekend we were there, and the large group of college-age looking people in the adjacent group site partied until after 2am.

We arrived after dark and we’re never told you needed a code for a locked gate. We were stuck and it was late

Nice, clean, spacious and quiet campsites.
Campsite #1 has very little space for tents
