The area is wooded and was peaceful on the day we were there, which was right after a major storm. Campsite 17 was near a restroom and dumpster. There are water faucets near the vault toilet restrooms. Did not see a dump station. The sites are asphalt with a table and campfire ring in the dirt. There is a camp host who was not there when we arrived at check in time, and they don’t sell firewood, so don’t know where one could get it. The 7 mile hiking trail normally crosses a dry creek, but it is no longer dry and has rushing water.

Site was set back from road and had room for 2 tents. One of the larger sites. All of the sites on the east side of the road are sloped.

Really enjoyed our stay at Dripping Springs. The campsites are lovely, the bathrooms very clean, a wonderfully friendly and helpful camp host, and we experienced a running stream and a beautiful hike with the poppy wildflower blooms in late February. The upper and lower loops provided great bike riding for our two young daughters. And it’s a great jumping off point to explore Temecula. We will definitely be back.

The grounds, cleanliness, nearby connected and accesibility were all great to top notch.
One removed star for some of these sites not really set up properly for a proper tent, specifically the grading. Some sites are significantly slopped where no where to comfortably lay down. The benches and fire rings are there, which is great, but getting a good night's sleep is reduced when you're sleeping on a slope.

Extremely clean campground and facilities! You can hear cars passing by on 79 but it isn’t loud to the point where you can’t sleep. Also love how the campground is connected to the Agua Tibia wilderness. We went first weekend of Feb and everything was green, no bugs. Will be back!

In late January/early February 2023 - stop on the way to/from destination. Nice spacious sites, different types (back-in, pull-thru, etc.) Well kept. Plenty of trees. It was quiet. There is almost no cell service despite being 10 minutes from Temecula. Proximity to Temecula makes it easy to get supplies and gas. Be sure to check for gas prices - there was a wide range in the area! All in all, I like this campground. This is my second stay at this time of year. Recommended.
