In late January/early February 2023 - stop on the way to/from destination. Nice spacious sites, different types (back-in, pull-thru, etc.) Well kept. Plenty of trees. It was quiet. There is almost no cell service despite being 10 minutes from Temecula. Proximity to Temecula makes it easy to get supplies and gas. Be sure to check for gas prices - there was a wide range in the area! All in all, I like this campground. This is my second stay at this time of year. Recommended.

Extremely clean campground and facilities! You can hear cars passing by on 79 but it isn’t loud to the point where you can’t sleep. Also love how the campground is connected to the Agua Tibia wilderness. We went first weekend of Feb and everything was green, no bugs. Will be back!

It is a pretty place. Be wary that there are 2 parts of the campground. The ones that are closer to equestrian grounds are elevated, and more secluded, if you don't mind the horses. However, the other part is more green.
Camp host was nowhere to be found. There was not a marked bin for Propane tanks, and as we could not find the host, disposing them was an issue.
Toilets were clean, but there is no soap or water, so keep that in mind.

We had 3 people at Site 7 and we had plenty of room to set up multiple tents, and it was great to have 2 picnic tables for cooking. It is situated next to the bathrooms but not too close at all (no smells etc). It is more shaded which is great for summer but proved a little cold for January. Flat and paved drive for cars/campers, and plenty of flat ground for tents. There are 2 hiking trails right at the end of the campground which is great. We also like the proximity to town and visited a winery less than 15 minutes away for one of the afternoons of our stay

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Fires & fuel
- Check fire restrictions before visiting, as wood and charcoal fires may be prohibited.
- Buy firewood locally and burn it on-site to protect California's forests.
