site #7 has a nice flat ground. Dogs barking at night is the only negative. The trail is hard but I like that dogs are allowed.

The campground was nice and there were great hiking trails. The only disappointment was no fires.

Nice and quiet campground very close to Temecula. Easy to get in and out. Sites are reasonable size and easy for tent campground or use of a small RV.

Campground is lovely, but we should have been notified that campfire interdiction had been extended through December.
I think that when campgrounds are running with reduced resources, such as no fires, no water, etc., fees should also be reduced.

Plentiful very old oaks and sycamores shade a hidden gem just off Hwy 79 SE of Temecula. Driving there from the North you feel you must have chosen an RV park near a Walmart, but soon the topography changes, as does the road--from 6 lanes to 2 and suddenly there is a hard right turn into the campground. The sites are widely spaced and the one-lane road meanders around and then up a slight rise and doubles back, with two turnarounds. The trailhead is at the end of the campground and offers two trails 1 moderate and 1 strenuous. The toilets are vault and extraordinarily well maintained. Water faucets are plentiful. The camp host Jim is friendly and helpful. Great campground for a serene stay, not too far from the amenities of Temecula.

I was unaware that we would hear dogs barking all night long. I will not stay here again simply because the dog barking from the next property over was not expected. If there were electrical so I could drown out the dogs we might return, but part of
our enjoyment of camping is hear nature at night.
