What Guests Are Saying
San Gorgonio Campground is praised for its well-maintained facilities, clean bathrooms, and friendly camp hosts who enhance the overall experience. Many campers appreciate the beautiful, shady environment and family-friendly atmosphere, particularly enjoying the hiking trails and spacious sites. Visiting during a weekday was the best decision. I rode in with a few fellas on our Harley Davidson’s, we camped for one night. Your experience will be a 100% better if you make friends with the Attendant on site. Eric the attendant was a humble man, and had great stories to share with us. Bring ample food & water. There is a gas station / convenient store about 15 miles away, they do close at 8:00 PM.

This campsite is very nice. The hosts are wonderful and very friendly. You are just 30 minutes from the town of Big Bear where you can explore restaurants and shop. You are about 1.5 miles from Jenks Lake where you can fish or just picnic at the lake. You can drive about 3 miles down towards the spring of running water and enjoy the running water. There are several hikes near that you can enjoy.

Excellent, helpful, friendly "service" from the Camp Hosts... Eric and Erin. Best that we've experienced in three years of camping!

Camp host wonderful.
Great site. We tried walking down to the Santa Ana River, and made it to the Santa Ana Trail (which parallels it but doesn't dive into it). We continued north (and down) until there was a washout on the trail. Bigger kids could have made it, but not little ones, so we rested and turned around. Wonderful hike.
Jenks Lake area is nice, but crowded on a Saturday.
