What Guests Are Saying
San Gorgonio Campground is praised for its well-maintained facilities, clean bathrooms, and friendly camp hosts who enhance the overall experience. Many campers appreciate the beautiful, shady environment and family-friendly atmosphere, particularly enjoying the hiking trails and spacious sites. However, some guests noted issues with overcrowding on weekends, maintenance of bathrooms, and occasional noise from nearby roads, suggesting that weekdays offer a more peaceful experience.

This campground has big-ish campsites, you're not super close to other campers which is nice. The bathrooms are very clean and well stocked. Water is available. They also have "double sites" which is good if you are camping with a couple families or group.

excellent campgroup, sites are far enough not to be bothered by others. Clean restrooms. many trees have holes in the them, hope they will survive.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds. The sites are well spaced out, there is a good mix of shade and sun in most sites, and it is nice and cool in the summer! It is a little dusty, but the hiking is good and it is close to Jenks Lake. We have camped here many times and I always look forward to going.

Well taken care of and lots of sites are not too close together.

My husband and I only spent a single night (Thursday, Site 51) here, but we had a great experience. The grounds were well-kept with plenty of trees at 51, the bathrooms were clean, and the host was very nice. We didn't have anyone camping near us, so it was quiet and private. Our friends came up on Friday, so we stayed at visited with them at their site until dark (Site 39 - would not recommend because there is a sewer grate near the picnic table there and every once in a while the stink wafts through). By Friday evening, all the sites were full and it was a very different scene from our experience the previous night. If you like quiet and not having to wait in line for the bathroom, I'd recommend going up during the week vs the weekend. All in all, we had a really nice time in the fresh mountain air and hope to make it back for a longer stay sometime.
