What Guests Are Saying
San Gorgonio Campground is praised for its well-maintained facilities, clean bathrooms, and friendly camp hosts who enhance the overall experience. Love this place. Camp Hosts are awesome, keeping everything clean and quite. Great for familys and kids. There are group sites, but be aware, if your unruly and play loud music your time will be short. If you want to party all night go up to Serrano in Big Bear...Camping is where you escape to relax and enjoy the elements of the forest, not to bring your home with you...

nice campground, friendly and helpful host. Not much privacy as all the trees are very tall but still recommend this cg. Great hiking trail that starts behind sites 28/30 area. Visited while showers were closed due to Covid but the bathrooms were otherwise very clean and nice. Firewood bundles for sale with camp host for $8

This place is wonderful for first time campers or campers who want to introduce tent camping to new campers. Beautiful land. Camp sites are spaced perfectly. Only thing I suggest is make sure your firewood is dry. Had a blast!

My friends and I had a great time camping here. The site we picked had plenty of space and in good condition. Spent a day fishing at Jenks lake. We didn't catch anything but the area is quite beautiful!

I've been going to San Gorgonio and Barton Flats campgrounds since I was 2 years old (that's 71 years). They are centrally located between the Santa Ana River and Jenks lake. Firewood gathering is allowed as long as you do not use power tools (i.e. chain saw). Flush toilets are always clean and hot showers are also available. A small store is just a couple of miles back towards Redlands for those things you may have forgotten. Hiking trails are abundant and one actually skirts the campground so access is easy! Lots of room between campsites (like ~20 yards).

The site is good for families. We enjoy the fact that there is running water for the restrooms and there are showers. Some nights you can hear the music from the amphitheater that is close by, but itβs not too bad.
