What Guests Are Saying
Cedar Bluff is praised for its beautiful camping location near the lake, friendly and accommodating camp hosts, and clean facilities. Many visitors enjoyed the spaciousness of their sites and the overall atmosphere, making it a great spot for family trips. However, some concerns were raised about the lack of bear boxes, limited amenities like showers, and issues with cleanliness in certain areas, which affected the experience for a few campers.

The site was nice and close to the lake but we were on site 15 so we had no dirt to place tents. We fixed it and wasn’t as bad as we thought. I like the distance from other sites so it felt intimate. The restrooms were poorly kept though, really wish they were cleaner.

We go annually to Cedar Bluff. The site was clean and our overall experience was great. Love that we have Cedar Bluff to enjoy family time.

Great campsite overall, well maintained bathrooms. We stayed in campsite 6 of Cedar Bluff and while it all worked out, the site was very very close to its next door neighbors. Also there was a camp host onsite; there was no need to check in at the station on Rd 222.

Campground is good condition and the hosts were very helpful. The dump station close to the campsite was closed but we were able to find one in Oakhurst.

Very nice campground that we have used for many years. Docents have done a wonderful job of maintaining even though some campers don't seem to respect the campgrounds, especially the restrooms. We will be camping there as long as we can

9/06/2021 Campground was wonderful they have a camp overseer onsite and they allowed fires and sold firewood even tho the fires were going on. We had a site right next to the lake which was a short walk away. Water was comparable to Lake tahoe not as clear but felt just as great. This place is like a closer smaller lake tahoe. Would go again.

Beautiful campground easy to navigate with our 55foot truck and trailer. Deer, wild turkeys, squirrels, and a variety of birds entertained us while we relaxed on our patio facing the forest. We were in the furthest site from the lake and it was still just a short walk to our beach day camp where we moored our skis. The camp hosts were friendly and our neighbors (one large group in a quad site) respected the 10pm quiet time. There were lots of trails and a fire road to hike/walk our dogs. Great little place. We will return!

The location was great, next to the restrooms. My ONLY issue was the host of the location. Our family had music and the host himself came to tell us to turn down the music in un-respectful manner, pointing his finger at my sister-in-law’s face. We would’ve gladly have turn down the music if he had been more professional about it. The night prior to this people around us had loud music until 3AM and did NOTHING!!! Another upside to this location is that they don’t have showers.
