I would give this campground a 5/5 if it were not for the swarms of mosquitos we encountered. They were relentless during the daylight hours, mostly at dusk, at the time you'd want to make dinner, enjoy sunset, and have a fire. Otherwise this campsite was great. #19 provides more privacy than any of the other spots in this campground. I saw spots 26-28 have a great view of the water, which was absolutely beautiful at sunrise. The camp host was very friendly and informative. We saw no bears to my relief. This campsite was about 45 min from the south entrance of Yosemite. If not for the mosquitos, I would recommend this campground to others. Maybe it will be better in the dryer summer months regarding this.
