Very nice host, took time to explain everything, answered our questions and told us about the wildlife.

Campsite was beautiful and with fire pit's, wood available by the host. In the morning we saw some dear just strolling through the campsite up close.

This was our overnight place between Yosemite and Sequoia park. Good driving times.

We were there right before the beginning of the season during the week, so while it was wild and loud when we arrived Sunday, it was quiet during the week. Campground was nice and clean. The lake itself was not clean. Enough of a bummer that we did sight seeing rather than beaching. Staff seemed very focused on money and charging for things. Had to wait 45 minutes to dump at the dump station and that was mid-week off-season. I’d say fill your water before you come and plan on dumping elsewhere.

Camp hosts were on point for everything. Friendly, positive, thorough. Knew their stuff. Campsite was a dream with view of the lake. Quiet, peaceful campground. However, I stayed Monday-Friday morning. Got a sense that the weekends would be full of noisy party goers which would spoil the beauty of the location. Lots of Day Use areas on the lake. That was nice, but people using these areas left lots of trash behind, even though trash bins were handy. Needs a once-a-week clean up by government personnel. The Canadian geese made a poop mess everywhere. Not much you can do about that, I know. Services around the lake were appreciated including boat rentals, showers, small grocery, small restaurants. Loved the old fashioned lake/mountain/lodge kind of vibe. Laid back, simple, friendly, relaxing.

The site and view was beautiful. Washrooms were ok, but not very clean. Not much else there, no showers, no electric. We knew that of course but we've had better gov. campsites for half the money. Not worth the price this one.

We love this campground- it typically is quiet and the sites aren’t too close to each other.

We had a wonderful time staying at the beautiful Lupine campground. Our host Carmen was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We were really impressed with how clean and well-stocked the bathrooms were. I can honestly say they were probably the best camping bathrooms I’ve ever seen. Site 70 where we stayed really does have the best view, as well as space for 2 tents, and it’s such a quick walk down to the lake or the day use area nearby! We will definitely be coming back when the weather is warmer!

Stayed here in our pop up camper. Easy back in with a level parking space. Bathrooms were clean during our stay. Definitely coming back during summer.

Great facility. Clean restrooms, helpful camp host. Spot 78 plenty of room but decent slope front-to-back. Barely able to get 25' travel trailer fully level (bottomed out tongue jack). Drove in from north, roads windy but accessible with travel trailer, just go slow around several blind curves. Stayed 3 nights in Nov, high 30s overnight. Ranger station check-in was closed in Nov; check-in was with camp host at the actual campground.
