Beautiful location with easy access to the lake. The sites were clean and well maintained and host Alex went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We’ll be back again!

Really nice camp host. The bathrooms were spotless. My guess is about 65% of the campground was empty which was nice. Things I didn’t like. A huge number of spots do not have a level place to put a tent, the outer rim spots were solely for RV’s. Its super annoying to drop 45 dollars for a site and not have a single spot to put a tent, and then have to drive to some office far away to change the site. 45 dollars for a spot here is ridiculously overpriced, that doesn’t include them also charging 10 to park down by the water. No level spot, no place to put up a hammock, the tables are so old they are rotting, holes in sinks, not much shade, and massive debris trash piles for 45 a night.

Site 85: nice campgrounds with easily access to lake (day use area across the street). Camp host was helpful.
Our site (Lupine 85) had no useable shade and lacked a true flat spot for a tent.

rangers taking care of the place were pretty nice. they wont allow us to switch sites to an unoccupied spto because we blindly picked a spot with no shade, but totally understandle if thats the camp rules.

Such a great campground! The camp hosts were wonderful and the camping area was great, nice flat places for tents and a classic fire ring to cook over!

Campground map on Recreation.gov is not accurate, booked 4 adjacent sites based on the map and they were a long walk from each other.
