We loved our stay at Lupine. We ended up changing our site to be closer to the water with more privacy and loved it. The rangers were very kind and helpful. We had a 30 foot trailer - sites 80 and 81 were a little cramped for us which is why we moved. The campsite was mostly empty, was very clean, quiet, and it was great to be in close proximity to the lake, the store, great trails, and the nearby town. There was fresh water, bathrooms, a nice firepit with grill, and a picnic table at our side. We went to Yosemite for the day - it was beautiful.

Good shade in the afternoon. The morning doesn’t have much shade. Kinda close to other sites but what campground isn’t. Short walk to the lake from this site. Not to far away from the bathrooms. I didn’t tent camp but the area didn’t have much flat spots for a good spot. This site is good for sleeping in our van, level spur. Only stayed a night.

I was in an RV, so I didn’t use the camping installations at all, but the place is an awesome location. Loved the lake. A bit noisy at night for my taste. I plan to come back to this camping.

Site 74. Loved our 6 days at Lupine CG. The hosts were awesome. Everything was clean and having a view of Bass Lake from our camp site was a bonus. Deer and wild turkeys passed us by twice a day, and 1 year old bear cub made an appearance one afternoon. Would be nice if they had bear boxes.

Great secluded campsite away from the crowd and near the lake.

Great location. Some campers were a little loud. And, no bear boxes are provided — a real inconvenience, especially since the camp host went around telling everyone there were bears sniffing around. Not a great swimming lake. Lots of boats and murky water.
