What Guests Are Saying
Recreation Point is an excellent location for family gatherings, offering close access to the water, shaded areas, and well-maintained facilities, including clean restrooms. Guests appreciated the helpfulness of staff, particularly Larry, who ensured a pleasant experience. However, some felt the reservation and parking fees were high, especially given the condition of picnic tables and the overgrown ballfield.

Nice, fairly secluded area. Mostly grassy.
Good sitting and cooking area. Easy access to restrooms. Plenty of parking.
Lake access through Scout camp.

I had the understanding we had paid for rental use of the area. As the day went on folks without reservations literally moved in and took over the small spot of beach area we were using. Bass Lake is so crowded it is no longer a enjoyable place for locals to go.

Great shade, close to the water and plenty of table space for our group.

Great campsite with plenty of space and easy water/bech access.
However large area has no tree cover and it is very sandy.

Be aware of bees. Lots of them.
Other than that great site with plenty of space.

We reserved two group camps here to camp with our church. The location was excellent, toilets were always clean. Everyone had a great time. Recommended.

One of the best spots on the lake. But to charge for the picnic area, and then charge $10 for each vehicle is a little steep.

Great picnic site. Shaded by a big beautiful oak tree, parking is adjacent and convenient, and a great view across the lake. Lake shore is a few steps away. Restrooms with flushing toilets nearby and they were clean and spacious. Enjoyable afternoon eating and enjoying the lake for the whole family.
