When we arrived, our picnic table was unusable because one side was missing a bench due to rot. Because of the water problem, the campground had portapotties that were not cleaned until Friday, July 10, but should have been emptied after the Fourth of July.

The camp host was awesome! The porta potties not so great. I arrived on a Wednesday - they stunk and were full- very uncomfortable to use esp when you would have had flush toilets. They should be emptied and cleaned more often. Also there was no water in the sink - which i found out after I put soap on my hands. After they were emptied on Friday it was not as bad. I’d like to book again but that is a deterrent - love this place- miss the flush toilets- if that’s not possible please empty and clean more often. TY

The location was great and it was easy to walk across the road for direct access to the lake. Our particular trip had some rowdy guests that made the campground louder than expected but it wasn't unbearable. The campground is quite hilly.

Very friendly camp host. However, most bathrooms were closed, had to use porta potties. The sound amplification effect from the lake is very noticeable; this is not a quite campground. You can hear all of the boat engines due to the theatre geography and landscape.

This was a great spot to stay at, located right at the entrance of the campground with easy access to the lake. This site is located right at the entrance of the campground, so restrooms and water are a bit of a walk away. This site does offer some shade though the shade is constantly moving throughout the day. We brought an umbrella and were fine with just that. I would absolutely stay here again!

This campground site was very nice and shaded and tended to be a little cooler than everywhere else which was nice. It's secluded with no close neighbors. Has full cell service. There are lots of cars that come into this culdasack of campsites turning around because ahead on the main road is not a though street so they are turning around. But we were happy with it.
At the time of our stay we got a low water pressure warning meaning everyone had to use porta potties which was very gross and unpleasant.

We have been coming to Spring Cove every year for 7 years. Never disappointed until this year due to the lack of bathrooms and the bad smell of the porta potties. The ranger Patricio was amazing though, super helpful and accommodating. I am not upset, we still had a great time, but I wish more upfront info was given

Love this campground. We stayed at site 22 this time which was kind of small and no privacy. The location so close to beautiful bass lake can’t be beat, though.

Spring Cove is located about 20 miles south of Yosemite National Park. From Highway 41, take Bass Lake turn-off (Road 222). Head southeast about 3.5 miles to the Bass Lake Campground registration office for check-in (keep to right). The
campground is southeast another 4 miles.
Spring Cove is accessible via Highway 41, which is approximately 20 miles from Yosemite National Park. The Bass Lake turn-off is on Road 222, which provides direct access to the campground.
Elevation: 1031 feet

General
- Please register at the Bass Lake Camp Store.
- Maximum vehicle length is 30 feet
- A security guard and camp host are on-site
- No more than 2 pets per site and leashed at all times.
- Please Note: One RV with tow vehicle per single site or one vehicle per tent site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. Extra vehicle will be charged a per night fee and collected at the campground.
- Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed. For current fire conditions or weather closures contact the Sierra National Forest Headquarters, (559) 297-0706.
- Reserved Sites will be held until the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of that following day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect California's forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. For more information visit firewood.ca.gov.
