You cannot just drive into the spot that you paid for online! Make sure you check in down the hill from the campsite. The ranger there is very friendly and the process is easy, but you need to get the piece of paper and the parking pass from them before you drive into the campground. The individual sites are a little small and the campground is packed with people. There isn't really any privacy from any other groups camping there. It was very noisy all night (Saturday) and there were random flashlights being shined in trees and in our tent. The bathrooms were dirty. Toilet paper all over the floor and dirt in the sinks. One bathroom door remained locked all night.

This is my first camping trip since my high school years from 1986. I loved camping now to get to know the nature more. I will be going camping this Labor Day weekend. It is a camping trip before my kids returning to distance learning.

Camp host was very nice, our spot was slightly hilly but we made it work with our tents. Bathrooms were maintained. There are bears, but they are not “problem” bears. Super close to day use points on the lake, Miller’s Landing, and more. Saw lots of deers as well, which was cool. Would come back!

Beautiful place ,big sites and very clean.very cleans restrooms .most of the sites are in shade .it is near railroad ,but the noise is not annoying.

Spring Cove is located about 20 miles south of Yosemite National Park. From Highway 41, take Bass Lake turn-off (Road 222). Head southeast about 3.5 miles to the Bass Lake Campground registration office for check-in (keep to right). The
campground is southeast another 4 miles.
Spring Cove is accessible via Highway 41, which is approximately 20 miles from Yosemite National Park. The Bass Lake turn-off is on Road 222, which provides direct access to the campground.

- Please register at the Bass Lake Camp Store.
- Maximum vehicle length is 30 feet
- A security guard and camp host are on-site
- No more than 2 pets per site and leashed at all times.
- Please Note: One RV with tow vehicle per single site or one vehicle per tent site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. Extra vehicle will be charged a per night fee and collected at the campground.
- Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed. For current fire conditions or weather closures contact the Sierra National Forest Headquarters, (559) 297-0706.
- Reserved Sites will be held until the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of that following day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect California's forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. For more information visit firewood.ca.gov.
