Spring Cove

When we first arrived, our site (55) was in full sun and it was HOT! (Early July, 4pm). We bolted down to the lake, which was beautiful and totally swimable, and perfectly cooled us down. By the time we returned to the campsite (6pm), we had almost full shade, and happily set up camp. The site was spacious and gave us a fabulous view of the stars, with a frame of old growth trees. Bathrooms and water were close by and clean, and we quickly made friends with the best host of the summer, William. He is awesome! We will be returning!

Campground is well maintained and quiet. Easy access to get in and out. There’s a decent amount of brush and trees to provide some privacy. Camp hosts are friendly and welcoming. Cell service is fairly good for the area, I didn’t have any issues with messaging. All in all I enjoyed the few nights I spent there.

Was really nice, but unfortunatelly no shower were avaliable in the camping.

This campsite is right across from the lake so we would walk over every night to watch the sunset . The camp host was so nice and friendly ,even gave us some leftover wood and would check in on us from time to time . I think wood is only like $8 dollars for a bundle we foraged wood too . During the week it was real quiet and empty in May but the weekend was so crazy and loud and full of people . no service but you can go to the restaurant down the street and have lunch with a view on the patio and get some WiFi bars. everyone was so nice . Our First time at Bass lake . We drove to Yosemite 2 out of 3 days we were here. But loved coming back to this campground. gorgeous warm weather. we rented a canoe and fished for $20, but they have motor boats and jet skis to rent as well.

The bathrooms were not cleaned often or very well.

Very small sites, we barely fitted our 16foot trailer, with the suv parked sideways, it is very popular due to the proximity to Bass Lake, lots of kids and family groups. Sloping site was a bit uncomfortable, caused some damage to our rig when we slipped off our stabilizers.
But the office tried hard but unsuccessfully to find us a more suitable site, so overall a pleasant stay.

Great location. Close to nice swimming areas, especially if you have small kids. Our camp host, William, was on top of everything.

Great location, close to the lake with shade but the campground host was incredible! He personified what a host should be! Helpful, friendly and caring!
