What Guests Are Saying
Wishon Bass Lake campground offers a great location near the lake and amenities, making it a favorite for many families who return annually. Campers appreciate the clean restrooms and beautiful views, with some sites being spacious enough for larger groups. However, issues such as rude camp hosts, noise disturbances, unlevel campsites, and lack of bear boxes have been noted, impacting the overall experience for some visitors.

Great campaign site! The man in charge of maintaining the park does a great job. Roads were clear of trash and debris, restrooms clean and well maintained. We will be back for sure!

Very well maintained campsites and the restrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, and soaked ourselves in the nature. We were at campsite 38, we don’t see the lake from there, but the views were amazing regardless. The lake or hikes isn’t that far which was a great plus.
Just one thing, we had a large loud group of teens, we, including kids had a bit of hard sleeping because of the late noise. Though, I don’t believe much can be done about it, it was bad timing for us.
Overall, we had an excellent experience, and would definitely love to come back.

This site is on a slope with only partial shade. But the biggest issue with this campground is it is in bear country with lots of signs warning this but there are NO bear boxes. Also lots of hornets/wasps with only one singular trap by the nearby bathroom. We went out and bought our own traps but despite catching many hornets/wasps, there were still too many to enjoy a meal sitting in one place.

Narrow roads, need to remove the curbs on both sides of the paved road inside the campground.

We had a great time at site 45! There’s a view of the lake, it’s between two bathrooms, and we were able to park 4 cars in the driveway. Most of the site is slanted but we were still able to put up 2 tents comfortably. There is also not a lot of shade but at the edge of the site there are some trees that we were able to hang up some hammocks on.
