What Guests Are Saying
Wishon Bass Lake offers a wonderful camping experience with clean amenities, friendly and helpful camp hosts, and easy access to the lake. Many guests appreciated the camp's beautiful location and the enjoyable atmosphere for families. However, some concerns were raised about noise disturbances during quiet hours, inconsiderate campers, and the need for better campsite leveling and bear-proof storage. Overall, the positive aspects of the campground make it a popular choice for many visitors.

Our 5th time at Wishon Cove and we had a great spot at site 28. Pretty flat with plenty of space and good shade. Nice easy walk to the lake, close to the restrooms and close to showers at Millers Landing. This isn’t the place to go if you want a nice quiet night though. At 9:50 pm the camp “security” drives through windows up and doesn’t seem to hear the parties or the the drunken yelling from the campers. 2nd year in a row where had to to approach our neighbors (after 11:00 pm) to lower the music, keep down the yelling and to turn off the generators. Always works for 10-15 minutes and then it’s loud again. The camp host is sweet, very efficient at checking you in and giving information but scores poorly on enforcing the rules.

Ada site. Kind of sloped around the picnic tables and parking-hard to get a wheelchair around. Very big site. Fit 4 tents. Restrooms and water right across. Wish the camp host would get on people about quiet time. Our neighbors bumped till about 11pm one night with their generator....other then that the site is right across from bass lake. You can walk to it.

a little sloped to get in and set up tents. But the view was breath taking. Not much privacy on this site.

Quiet time of year in September/October.
Upon check in we got conflicting information which had us driving to Wishon then back to ranger station back to Wishon to ranger TWICE because Wishon host was not available and R station couldn’t check us in. We had to move very rapidly to make the 5 pm registration. We used the online system but it was not beneficial.
Tried to keep good attitude on vacation but we were tired and still had to set up a tent etc.
Wishon is so far from the entrance it would be nice to check in at Wishon!!!!! Crazy driving back and forth.
