What Guests Are Saying
Wishon Bass Lake offers a lovely campground experience with great weather, private and spacious sites, and excellent access to Miller's Landing for boat rentals and amenities. Many campers appreciate the friendly and helpful camp host, who enhances their stay. However, there are notable concerns regarding the cleanliness and functionality of restrooms, as many experienced issues with portable toilets and locked facilities, which detracted from an otherwise enjoyable visit.

In tbe picture it showed a fairly flat camp.site when we got their it was on a steep hill! Placing tents was a challenge and kids were falling all weekend!

The most outstanding thing about the campground was the host. I don't remember her name, but she was a retire schoolteacher. She found us another site that was suitable for us to stay in a trailer. She came by often to make sure we were happy with the new site, and all was good. I have been going to this campsite for years and never had a camp host as friendly and caring as her.
The bear problem is much better since installation of bear boxes. The only negative experience was the water was shut off the last two days. They did bring in portable toilets, but we couldn't
get water to wash dishes so most of our party has to leave a day earlier than planned.

We love coming here every year. Our only small complaint is that we wish they’d give us free tokens for showers once a day.

Arrived at 6pm. First impression not good. Cigarette buds and trash., including cups and sanitary wipes on the ground. Also table was in need of serious repair. Peeling paint and falling apart. Very unstable. Restrooms were non operable but porte potties were provided. Also the parking situation was not good. Very uneven parking provided. Only positive camp site was close proximity to lake. And camp host was super nice, Camp ground has some serious maintenance issues.

Restrooms were not working for most of our stay (had to use porta-potties). Tap water out of the faucets was brown and too gross to drink, so we had to carry water in from the nearby store. The camp host was very nice and tried to make the best of a suboptimal situation.
It was also annoying to have to book three nights even though we had only wanted to stay for two nights (we just forfeited the extra cost for the third night).
