What Guests Are Saying
Plaskett Creek Campground offers a beautiful, peaceful setting just a short walk from Sand Dollar Beach, making it a great spot for camping. Many visitors praised the friendly camp hosts and the spacious, scenic environment, ideal for families and pets. However, the campground faces criticism due to the lack of potable water and restroom facilities, with porta potties being the only option, which some found unsatisfactory.

Nice campground, but there was no potable water and the restrooms were out of order.

The campground is very pretty but it doesnt have portable water or restroom. It seems like each site is spreaded out so you will have some your own space

Group campsites had many gopher holes making it difficult to walk around. No lights in the outhouses. No water available but they are still charging high rates.

This is a beautiful campsite located across the street from an epic beach, but the lack of potable water and any kind of bathroom facilities makes one wonder what exactly one is paying for. Water problem needs to be remedied ASAP.

Beautiful spot near Sand Dollar beach, redwoods, and New Camaldoli Hermitage.

Beautiful spot. Lots of trees and you can walk to the beach.

Love the campground location, especially near Sand Dollar beach. When we visited though the spigot water was non-potable, so you may want to call the rangers ahead of time asking if that’s been resolved.
Other things to note, not all campsites have a hammock-able spot. The whole campground is on a slight hill, so it’s hard to get a perfectly flat spot for your tent. Also there were tons of ticks throughout the campground. Good surfing when we were there!

No bathrooms… no water… crowded and noisy.
