About Grizzly

Grizzly Campground (5.8 ft) is one of three family-friendly campgrounds located in the Lake Davis Recreation Area. The recreation area and its namesake lake, Lake Davis provides the classic lake fishing experience. For example, there are four boat launching facilities and many fishing access points around the lake. Water skiing and jet skiing are not allowed on this lake. That makes it a quieter location for that peaceful leisurely camping experience you're looking for.

The Lake Davis was beautiful & the campsites very quiet in late August. The camp host had a supply of wood for sale as well as puzzles, games & boogie boards free to use for campers. My grandson & I really enjoyed the week!

Campground was nice and clean. There is definetely a bear problem tho. Luckily we were in a trailer this time. But I feel sorry for people that are tent camping bcuz there are no bear boxes for your food. And I heard that the bears will break into your vehicle if you put your food in there. We had a bear trapsing through our camp all night and even in the middle of the day when I was sitting in a lounge chair. Not afraid of people at all, its kinda scary.

zero Spectrum connection.
5 bears have been known to frequent the campground. One smaller one clawed a hole in my paddleboard while it was on the roof rack of my car. This happened overnight.

Even though they were a lot of insects in night time we had a blessed time with the family. Nice camping with the lake just a few minutes away from us

The sites are large and offer a decent amount of shade. We had site 11 which was nice and flat for two tents. Access to the water is pretty easy from the campground and there were several trails to explore the forest and shoreline.
