What Guests Are Saying
Grasshopper Flat Campground offers a spacious and well-maintained environment with beautiful lake views and clean facilities, thanks in large part to the attentive camp host, Patty. Visitors appreciated the quiet atmosphere and large campsites, along with nearby amenities such as a general store. However, some concerns were raised about bear activity, restroom cleanliness, and campsite spacing, which could detract from the experience for some campers.

The campground is large and well spaced, never felkt crowded. The lake is quite beautiful and there are trails down to and along the lake but not around the lake. The restrooms were nice and well maintained.

It was a bit confusing to choose a spot, so we didn''t get site we would have liked, but, i think we could have. Other than that, the site was clean and well maintained.

Camp host ‘patty’ was extraordinaire in her duties and presence! Loved that the fire trucks came through daily and the ranger kept track of coolers and food that needed to put up from bears. Campsites were clean and nice views of the lake.

So many things to recommend about this campground. It was so quiet. (We were there M-R in mid August so that may have had something to do with it.) Most of the sites are quite large and in good condition. The bathrooms were clean. The campground was clean. I credit the camp host (Patti) for the good condition. She was quite visible (but never intrusive) going about her host duties. There were concerns about bears (noted in other reviews) and Patti warned us about them, but told us what we needed to know to be "bear aware," and we had zero problems. There is a little general store a mile away with delightful people and inexpensive firewood and bags of ice and other small amenities that are nice to have nearby. The drive to the campground is also very pleasant and easy.

Very clean showers and restrooms. The Camp Host was frequently checking the area so was doing a fine job.

Inconsistent restroom cleanliness. Campsites a bit too close to each other.

Concerns of too many bears. Apparently there had been sightings every evening so that took a little pleasure out of our camping trip
