What Guests Are Saying
Spring Creek offers beautiful campsites near the lake, ideal for kayaking and enjoying scenic views, with well-maintained facilities and clean restrooms. Many guests appreciated the helpful camp host, Chuck, who contributed to a positive camping experience. However, some reported issues with specific sites, unpleasant odors near bathrooms, and noise from gas leaf blowers, suggesting improvements in waste management could enhance the experience further.

Great campsite! We were site 12, which was good for 3 tent sites. Great views and camping expperience, only "issue" was the reservoir water/beach were pretty gross/dirty but was still nice to enjoy for short. periods/is great for kids. Overall, we had a great time!

Overall the site was great. We had many sites for large family reunion. And it worked out well for everyone with tents and RVs.

The new camp host (at least new to me) was fabulous. He is very nice and was willing to help us in any way possible. I believe his name
is Chuck? He has a dog named chewy...

Site was well maintained. The restrooms were exceptionally clean, especially considering we arrived on Monday afternoon of the Labor Day weekend.
The only criticism I have is the use of gasoline leaf blowers by the camp host. I know the host works hard to keep the campsites in good order, and it really shows here, so this is not a criticism of the host at all.
Gas leaf blowers have been band in many cities because they are so annoying. The last place you expect to have to put up with a couple hours of that racket is at a National Forest campground!
Whomever decided gas leaf blowers would be a good idea for use in a National Forest campground really lacks even a rudimentary understand of what wilderness camping is all about.
Thank you to the host for doing a great job, but time to retire the leaf blowers!
