We’ve stayed here several times and have always had great experiences. There is no bad site.
The camp host this time was really awesome!
On a personal note… I’m an amateur birder and was fortunate to see Western Tanagers down by the creek this visit!

Camp ground was very clean and the camp host was very helpful with suggestions on acttivaties. Fishing in the creek was disappointing and I later found out that it hasn't been stocked in quit awhile.
However Twin lakes had great fishing.
We had a forest service person give a fireside talk about black bears in the area as well as other parts of the US and how to best deal with them.

Okay, was there early June, lot of snow melt, the Creek was more like a river for California. Fishing poor, locals say DFG doesn't stock the creek, locals buy fish for the lake. Other than that, the campground was well maintained and our stay was quite nice and peaceful. Highly recommend !

Camp host Donna was very attentive she came by an introduced herself. Restrooms where very clean same as the whole campground. My wife had to use the restroom in the middle of the night and she said it was extremely dark a motion light would be very helpful as seniors our eye site isn’t like they use to be. Overall experience was delightful the weather was excellent for that time of year . It’s one of our favorite places to camp . Thank you, Henry Martinez
