Space 18 has absolutely no trees to help with shade. Be sure to bring plenty of pop up shade tarps. We used our trailer awning plus 2 pop ups. Other than that, the area is very clean and kept up nicely.

The campsite is beautiful and the campsite host, Francisco, was superb. The problem is with the reservation system. It is nearly impossible to make a reservation and the system is not updated to show openings. For both Robinson Creek South and Robinson Creek North in California the online system shows it is completely booked. When we arrived at the site for the past two years, there were numerous openings that were not updated on the site. Many of the frequent visitors that I spoke to (coming for 20 years plus) have the same problems. We attempted diligently to make a reservation at 6:59:59 PST with multiple hands trying to get a site to no avail, and when we get there the cancellations have not been logged.

camp host was a nice guy, however, the bathrooms were not cleaned daily and were dirty, with a lot of flies unlike other years. also the very large dips in the pavement need to be fixed as they cause a lot of damage and accidents.
