What Guests Are Saying
Robinson Creek South is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and friendly camp hosts. Campers enjoyed good fishing and proximity to Twin Lakes, with many noting the peaceful atmosphere and well-maintained sites. While some experienced issues with noise from generators and the lack of potable water, overall, visitors had a fantastic time and expressed a strong desire to return.

We had a super time! Our site was perched high at the edge of the creek. Wouldn’t work well with toddlers, but our 9 & 11 year old grandchildren had a great time & managed not to fall in. Our grandson caught his first trout, then 4 more over 2 days. Saw Sierra Glow from campground entrance—unforgettable.

Campsite #18 had no shade and it's in the middle so feels like you're in a fish bowl... kinda rough. Luckily I brought a beach umbrella so I had 4'x4' of shade. Nice bathroom facility with flush toilets. Well kept. The surrounding campsites take up the river front real estate so not a lot of opportunity to get your feet in the water, but some if you stay respectful of other's space. Fishing was decent but only caught stockers with little of their tails left. A short hike gets you upriver into the next campground, Paha. Showers nearby (maybe a mile) before Lower Twin Lake are decent and very welcomed. $3 in quarters for 7mins, which was enough time for me. Good market at Lower Twin. Mike is a very nice camp host.

Campground was beautiful, campground host was kind and helpful, and just a wonderful spot to camp. The only complaint is there are large cracks in the pavement which have been there for years and need some repairs. I get that it is tough with the weather but I believe some repair work on them is a realistic expectation. Other than that, the best place ever to vacation.

The tent site I was assigned to was right off the road and very exposed. A bit too crowded for me.
