The campground offers beautiful scenery and easy access to hiking trails and fishing opportunities, making it an enjoyable destination for outdoor enthusiasts. We had the best time camping at camp site #10. Although there was a lot more vegetation then any of our other visits (which meant more bugs/mosquitos), we still had a really great time! Took the hike to Frog Lakes, caught fish, and had some quality family time!
Kimo was great as well as so helpful! Bathrooms were kept very clean!

This refers to Site 14 only.
This campsite is restricted access due to trees - and is narrow. While my 25' RV would have fit the length, the site was too narrow to safely reverse into. If you're in a tent, or a van style RV, you should be fine, but not reccomended for a wider class C or similar.

Kimo who was the camp host is absolutely awesome! Gave super great recommendations for the area and was extremely friendly and approachable.
The bathrooms were so clean and surprisingly did not smell. You could tell campers were extremely respectful in this area and that Kimo maintained the area so well.
The camp ground was quiet and very peaceful. highly recommend if you're truly looking to disconnect.

Had a wonderful time at Trumbull Lake Campground! It is a beautiful spot with beautiful scenery and views of the mountains. And the campsites and vault toilets are immaculately maintained by camp host Kimo!

One of my favorite campgrounds. Kimo, the host, is excellent. He takes pride in the campground, he is very visible throughout the day and will take the time to answer any questions.
The campground is at a high elevation, just under 10,000 feet, which I prefer with a great hike available right from the campground.

Sometimes the host of a campground sets the tone….Kimo is the best. He is just cool. Friendly, kind and so very helpful. He is constantly present in the camp. Either on his bike or making rounds in his truck. He sets the mood of a relaxed peaceful camp experience.

Timo is an excellent camp host. He goes way beyond what is required from him. Last year he saw we left behind a picnic chair. He saved it for us for a whole year and returned it to us when we arrived. Restrooms are immaculate by pit standards. Thank you Timo!

Kimo, the campground host, was terrific, knowledgeable, and very easy to talk to. The campground was very nice, well located near Trumbull Lake, with easy access to the hiking trails up to the Virginia Lakes and beyond. The dumpster and bathrooms were clean, but smelled, so if the wind was right, it was overpowering. I recommend a campsite away from the bathrooms and dumpster.

Wonderful campground. There is a great hike up to lakes but you need to be away that it's hiking at 10K MSL. The nice thing about that is you can escape some heat. The site I was on did not have a lake view but it was near a restroom. The host was wonderful and the restrooms were clean. Drove to Mono for a spectacular sunrise walk. Resort had $5 showers and food.
