Super dusty sites, no potable water this year, and there wasn’t a camp host.

The spot was great. The outdoor stove was perfect (we forgot our propane burner). The camp was quiet. Free firewood was available. The only 2 drawbacks…there was no running water. All the spigots had been turned off. And the bathrooms weren’t maintained at all. They were filthy and weren’t restocked in the 5 days we were there.

Unfortunately the time we went the water facilities were down. But I would say it was a gorgeous campsite that really felt in the woods without being too far from the road itself. My group went to Lake Tahoe for the day on Saturday and coming back to the peaceful sire was wonderful. Can't wait to go again!

I’m not rating as excellent due to no water availability, otherwise it was peaceful and relaxing. Great access to bike trails. A fantastic bar/restaurant just 6 miles away in case you don’t want to cook!

The campground area was good but all the water faucets were out of service with a lot of spiderwebs, showing that it’s been that for a while. Not only 1, all of them.

Beautiful scenery very peaceful. Unfortunately, the water was out, but we went down to Auburn not a bad drive and got more water.

We wanted to go camping before the July 4th weekend and were lucky to snag this campsite. The location was convenient, with several nearby trails to explore. I don't believe there was a camp host on site during our stay. The restroom could have used some cleaning and was out of toilet paper. Overall, it was a nice camping spot, and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

- In accordance with standard industry practices, Tahoe National Forest will assess an additional $5 vehicle fee per day for the second vehicle in each single family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicle in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered one vehicle, and the third and fourth motorcycle are also considered one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles.

- A no-show customer is one who does not arrive at a campground and does not cancel the reservation by check-out time on the day after the scheduled arrival date (or for day-use facilities, by check-in time the day of arrival). * No-show customers are only recorded at staffed facilities. At most remote facilities, all customers are noted as automatically checked-in on the date of arrival. * It is recommended that staffed facilities hold a campsite until check-out time on the day following the arrival date. * It is recommended that staffed facilities hold group day-use facilities until check-in time on the arrival date. There is no change fee if a customer extends or shortens a reservation if the change includes dates from the original reservation. If they choose to depart early, they may forfeit some or all of the recreation fees. There is no change fee if the customer changes campsites that are the same price and on the same reservation dates in the same campground. If the campsite the customer is changing to has a price difference, the customer will be responsible for any additional fees or be provided with a refund, based on the price difference. Where recorded, no-show customers are assessed a $20.00 no-show fee and forfeit the first night's recreation fee for a campsite or forfeit the entire day-use recreation fee for a day-use facility. We recommend customers contact the facility if they are en route to their reservation but cannot make it by the check-in date. In these cases, no refund will be issued, but the facility can ensure that a "no-show" fee is not assessed.
