We just arrived yesterday, but this is a beautiful RV/vacation cottages resort with an excellent pool area, immaculate grounds, and amazing location that is central to everything you could want or need! Bar and café right next to the pool. Rv sites are equipped with Adirondack chairs and gas firepits. Very well maintained. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Looking forward to enjoying the next two months here!

We LOVED this place. My wife and I took our four teenage boys here, and it was just perfect. The little cottage was great, the grounds were clean and nice, and the facilities were awesome. We loved the pool. Highly recommend this place for families!

Sun Outdoors San Diego Bay is a beautiful, well-maintained resort with a lot going for it. The grounds are immaculate, the gym is nice for an RV resort, and the heated pool area is excellent. Most notably, the staff across the board were impeccable—friendly, professional, responsive, and clearly invested in maintaining a high standard for the property.
Stayed for one month for about $2,000 + Electric.
That said, many of the other reviews are absolutely on point regarding the massive levels of noise and guest behavior, especially on weekends and around holidays. There were multiple nights where children were running and screaming until 2–3 a.m., often with parents who appeared blackout drunk and completely disengaged. On top of that, the constant interstate noise of cars and motorcycles racing through the nearby exits, combined with frequent police sirens and train horns, made for an extremely loud and annoying stay.
Because of this, I would only recommend this specific location if you are comfortable sleeping with earplugs every night (as we did), can turn off hearing aids, or if noise simply doesn’t bother you. The resort itself is fantastic, but the surrounding noise and weekend chaos are significant factors that potential guests should be aware of before booking.

We arrived on a Saturday, and the park was completely full up. There were only 1 or 2 empty spots in the whole place. We had never been here before so I had no idea what to expect. It was crazy busy with people running around, bikes, dogs, kids, scooters. It's definitely great for families with kids and dogs, but not so much for us older people who love peace and quiet. Overall it was a nice experience. 75% of the spots opened up by Sunday afternoon, and it was super calm and quiet after that. The biggest bummer though was the constant sewage smell, which got much worse in the evening. The bathrooms and showers were clean and always stocked. The food in the café was really good. The staff were helpful and friendly. If we come back, it will definitely be during the week.

(Visited mid October, a Sunday through Friday morning) This is a very well maintained RV park. Pretty bay and sunset views 15-30 mins from major attractions. Great walking and hiking right outside the gate. The well marked sites are spacious and every site has a dining or picnic table and a gas fire pit with 4 Adirondack chairs. Water, sewer, and electricity hookups are good. Sites are really level but drain water well (rained one day). This is the only place I have camped in 5 years where I did not need any leveling blocks under jacks or tires.
Facilities are wonderful: pool, bar, cafe, hot tubs. Sky deck lounge. Restrooms and showers are clean and well lit. Secure gated entry for site and you need a key card for gym, restrooms, showers. There is an Amazon Locker on site. There is a camp store with essentials. The staff is super friendly. Landscaping is well looked after. We toured the cabins and they are first class, spacious for a cabin, well equipped for an extended stay.
